How we handle your information

This website, CMMS Buyer’s Guide (cmmsbuyersguide.com), is run by the CMMS Buyer’s Guide website operator. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the people who run this website.

What you give us through Get Buying Help

If you fill out the Get Buying Help form, we collect what you type in: your name, work email, company, industry, number of sites, number of maintenance users, how you manage maintenance today, what you want to improve, when you hope to decide, and any notes. We also record that you ticked the consent box, when you sent the form, and which page on this site you came from before opening the form.

What we do with it

Your request is saved in the database that runs this site. A copy is emailed to the person who runs the site so they can reply to you. We use it only to respond to your request.

We keep requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and to run this service. Requests are not deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete yours at any time (see below), though we may need to keep some records if the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with software vendors. We do not use it for unrelated marketing. The services that host this site, store its data and send its emails handle the information only to keep the site running.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Google Analytics may use cookies and collects basic details such as pages viewed, rough location, device and browser. We also count a few simple actions: clicking a Get Buying Help link, starting the form, and sending it. These counts include only the page the action happened on. We do not send your name, email or anything you type into the form to Google Analytics.

Tools that remember your progress

CMMS Requirements Tool: your answers are saved on this site’s server. Your browser keeps a small cookie so it can find your answers again. You can reopen them only from the same browser, for 30 days after your last visit. After 30 days without a visit, they are deleted from the server during a daily cleanup. You can also ask us to delete them sooner. The tool does not ask for your name, company or contact details.

Keep Track of Your CMMS Decision: what you enter is saved only in your own browser. It is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing your browser’s site data.

CMMS Cost Calculator: the numbers you enter are not saved. They stay on the page and are gone when you leave or reload it.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

You can ask to see the information you sent us, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email pavingpossible@gmail.com from the address you used on the form and tell us what you want.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above.
